Busy Witchy Mama image

Welcome! Come on in and sit for a spell.

I’m Weaver Wanderlust, the Busy Witchy Mama (she/her).

I love hot drinks on cold nights, scary movies, stormy weather, family movie nights, all things Halloween, adventures with my little witchings, long hikes, and stopping way too often to investigate rocks and bugs.

I believe in having too many crystals and herbs, in green kitchen craft, and intuitive magic. I believe in caring for our planet, respect and human rights for all people, and that true magic comes from your gut and not a rule book. There’s more than one way to be a witch!

I’ve been an active, practicing solitary eclectic witch for the last decade or so, and I dabbled, studied, and explored for another decade before that.  While I don’t strictly identify as a pagan, I also hold many pagan spiritual values.

In my mundane life, I’m also a teacher and mother of two very busy little witchlings. Like so many others, the pandemic has not gifted me with surplus hours. Between a full time (and then some) teaching career, household upkeep, budgeting, an almost kindergartener, a very needy new baby, and general survival, I find myself constantly running out of time for important things. Like eating, sleeping, and showering…

Never mind finding time for magic. I started to feel completely disconnected from my practice!

If you want to study or practice witchcraft, but circumstances leave you feeling a bit detached from the process, I can relate. And I can help! Don’t get me wrong, I love an elaborate, hours long ritual just as much as the next witch, but I’ve got a job, a preschooler, and a bottomless pit of a little boob monster. I don’t even have an hour for ritual!

Luckily, I love frugality and creative problem solving. I can teach you how to conjure up affordable witchy wares and cast while you cook, shower, and clean. 20 minute magic has changed my practice. Now, I make magic everyday.

Let me preface by saying that making magic everyday is NOT a precursor to a rewarding magical journey or required to make your a “real witch”. That said, if you want to learn to make magic despite time crunches and limited budgets, we can totally be friends. Whether you’ve practiced openly for years, or you’re a brand new witch still firmly in the broom closet, you’ll find helpful tips for a busy witchy lifestyle.
